Analysis on Crushing Process of Bulk Material

Bulk material crushing means the process that materials are fed into the crushing cavity and crushed materials which reaches the required particle size are discharged from the discharge port.

The crushing process of the material in the crushing chamber can be described by the overall equilibrium model which means that the total mass of the crushed products including each particle size is equal to the total mass of the bulk material before crushing operation. That is, the quality of the material must be conserved before and after crushing operation, regardless of how the material particle size changes.

The size of the crushed material is the important economic indicator and technical performance indicator. The quality of the crushed material size has a direct effect on the economic efficiency of users and it also shows the crusher performance affecting the economic benefits of the crushing equipment manufacturer.

Improving the content of the cubic size of the crushed materials is conductive to the reduction of the particle size of grinding feed and lays foundation to the craft of more crushing and less grinding. Besides, in the construction and building materials industry, it is important to achieve the crushed products with fine-grained content and improve the content of cubic crushed products which will improve the quality of the concrete aggregate and stiffness of the building.
